Indiana Foodways: Here Fishy, Fishy Trail

With the Ohio River to our south and Lake Michigan to our north, this midwestern state isn’t landlocked at all. Find every type of seafood prepared perfectly on these menus and be sure to ask for the house favorites. You can even try deep fried frog’s legs while overlooking the Ohio River. Maybe you are looking for a good old fish fry with almost a pound of lightly battered fish piled onto your plate at the Knights of Columbus Council #563 monthly fish dinners. In addition to restaurants serving up some delicious seafood, we are even home to our very own shrimp farm.

Lafayette Brewing Company was founded in 1993 and quickly became a local favorite! It's hard to miss their green awning on Main Street in the historic building, previously a furniture store. Bring the family to enjoy a great meal, some beer or root beer or cream soda made on site and be sure to ask your server about the brewing process (which you can see from your table in the dinning room).

RDM Aquaculture

RDM Aquaculture LLC  is a family owned business. Started in Fowler, Indiana in 2009 by the Brown family, RDM looked into starting a tilapia farm but decided to take a different, more unique route into the shrimp farming industry.
