Trip Idea

A Road Trip 200 Years in the Making: Michigan Road

About this trip idea

Indiana’s seven historic and scenic byways have teamed up to create the Indiana Byways Passport. The passport gives you a guide as you explore the byways, collecting unique stamps from the various locations along the route. Officially endorsed as a Legacy Project of the Indiana Bicentennial, there is no better way to see the Hoosier State.

This trip idea is a sampling of the highlights listed in the passport. You can get your passport at any of the stops listed and collect your stamps at your own pace!

Stop in Logansport at the  Iron Horse Depot, an 1885 depot that was relocated and restored as a museum along the city’s river walk. Experience Indiana’s history at the  Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in Indianapolis. Shop for antiques at  Magnolia Mercantile in Greensburg, and eat delicious food at  Osgood Grub Company.
