Tour Grant County to see 11 unique statues commemorating America's favorite lasagna fan, Garfield the Cat. Fairmount is the hometown of the comic strip's creator, Jim Davis. Follow the famous feline through Eastern Indiana and enjoy the little stops he brings you to along the way. The Garfield Trail  is open year-round. Follow that Feline
Begin your tour in Swayzee at the Speedking Statue   near Alumni Park. The statue shows the fat cat in basketball garb, ready to shoot a few hoops for the local high school team. 

Head to Sweetser for the College Bound statue, located at Sweetser Switch Trail and Depot  . The one-mile paved trail features a 1916 wooden caboose, a restored parlor car and a mail car. Garfield is situated near the trains and is equipped with a bow tie and briefcase. 

In Marion, witness the Fit for Life statue   near the Mississinewa Riverwalk. Garfield dons running gear in the local high school's colors to encourage lifelong health. Get in the spirit and walk on the 2.25-mile path which follows the river. 

Stay in the area and visit Medical Professional Garfield   in front of Marion General Hospital and Duffer Garfield at the Arbor Trace Golf Club  

In Van Buren, see the Worldly Cat statue   at the Van Buren Public Library. Garfield stands on a stack of books with a globe in hand. 

Garfield has Gone Fishin'   in Matthews. Find the statue in front of Matthews Town Hall, decked out in fishing gear. 

Make your way to the hometown of Garfield's creator, Jim Davis. The Cool Cat can be found outside of the Fairmount Historical Museum  . Step inside to discover authentic artifacts from the cartoon's creator as well as another hometown hero, film star James Dean. 

Head to Jonesboro to see Firefighter Garfield   in front of Jonesboro City Hall. The statue commemorates the town for organizing the first fire department in Grant County.  

Visit Garfield the Glass Blower   in Gas City. Garfield can be seen working on his latest creative endeavor in front of the Gas City-Mill Township Public Library.
