Indiana’s oldest operating mental health hospital
The Longcliff Museum located in the 1888 building that once housed the administrative offices, displays artifacts that are all original to the hospital. The museum showcases the history of Logansport State Hospital through artwork, artifacts, documents and displays in order to honor the memory of our employees and patients, past and present. Longcliff Museum is open by appointment only as we are still a functioning psychiatric facility. Tours can be arranged by calling the hospital at (574) 722-4141 and requesting ext. 3712, 3802 or 3803, if no answer please leave a detailed message, including your email address and phone number and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
