The USS LST Ship Memorial, Inc. is an organization which owns, operates, and maintains the USS LST-325. The LST-325 is the last remaining representative of the largest class of ship to ever serve in the U.S. Navy: the Landing Ship, Tank. These 328-foot long amphibious landing vessels were designed to carry tanks, trucks, jeeps and troops directly onto enemy beaches for invasions in World War II. LST-325 participated in landings at Sicily, mainland Italy, and Normandy France during her service in World War II.
While in home port in Evansville, IN tours run hourly from 10:00am to 3:00pm every day, with each lasting roughtly 1 hour. Admission is $15 for adults (18+) and $7.50 for youth (6-17). Children 5 or under, World War II veterans, and active military service members & first responders (with ID) receive free admission. There are 6 sets of stairs along the tour route and the ship is neither heated nor air conditioned throughout the year, so please be aware of weather. Come see us and walk the decks of history!
