Home to Indiana's 1st State Park, McCormick's Creek with it's beautiful Canyon Inn located inside the park just east of Spencer on State Road 46. Travel up to Northern Owen County and visit what is described as Indiana's "Niagara Falls" the Cataract Upper and Lower Falls along with a Smith Truss Covered Bridge. Check out the 1860 Cataract General Store and the 1886 Cataract School with it's old fashion Ice Cream Parlor in the village of Cataract. Continue your adventure out to the Horseman's Campground located in the Owen-Putnam State Forest west of Spencer or the beautiful Green's Bluff Nature Preserve south of Spencer with it's beautiful creek and hemlocks as you traverse the lovely hiking trails.
