Tour the former home of Elwood Haynes, the inventor of stainless steel, vapor thermostat, Stellite and multiple alloys, and "America's First Car."

Elwood Haynes invented the first commerically successful gasoline powered automobile in the United States in 1894. He invented stainless steel in 1912.

His former residence now houses a collection of Haynes' possessions and inventions, including a revolving exhibit of Haynes automobiles.
