Celebrating freedom & Success in Indiana, Lyles Station stands as one of the last remaining African American settlements in the state. Settled in the early 1800s this community's heritage is preserved in the renovated Lyles Station School. Its Heritage Classroom provides students the opportunity to experience a day in the life of school children in the early 1900s. The school also features a museum, gift shop, meeting facilities, and a period garden. Groups & classroom field trips welcome by appointment. Meeting facilities available.
