This 1,650 acre lake and its surrounding area is characterized by the splendor of ridge and ravine topography. Located 10 miles northeast of Bloomington just off State Road 45 at the end of Tunnel Road, Lake Lemon has over 25 miles of shoreline and an average depth of 10 feet.
Riddle Point Park is located on the shores of Lake Lemon and offers a public boat launching ramp, picnic areas, swimming beach and lots of shoreline for fishing. There is a charge to enter Riddle Point Park on weekends and holidays. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. No camping is allowed at Riddle Point Park.
Privately owned boats may be launched at the public access area of Riddle Point launching ramp and at the Lake Lemon Marina. A permit must be purchased to launch at each designated area. Boat size limit is 30 feet.
Lake Lemon is one of Indiana's most popular and productive fishing lakes. The most abundant species of fish include largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, channel and flat head catfish. An Indiana fishing license is required and state fishing laws are in effect.
The lake is managed by the Lake Lemon Conservancy District.
