This picturesque river town has cool shops, unique restaurants and a must see museum. Events include Wine Festival May 1-2, a farmers market every Saturday morning from Memorial Day weekend until mid September, Fireworks and Evening in the Park on July , Ghost Walks mid October, and Dicken's style Christmas the first weekend in December with over 75 people dressed in 1880's costume. There is always something going on! Historic Newburgh was the first town captured north of the Mason Dixon Line in Civil War. Historic Newburgh is where contemporary meets tradition.
