In 1954 the mighty young men of the small high school in Milan, Indiana suprised the world by defeating a team from a much larger high school from Muncie in the Indiana State Basketball Championship game. Crowds came from all over the State to see the game and thousands decended on the small town of Milan to welcome the boys home. The Milan team not only inspired other classmates, but people from all over the world to put their best foot forward, and the movie "Hoosiers" was born from the Milan story.
Stop in the museum and see memoribilia from the 1950s game and the town, as well as the largest collection of items from the movie Hoosiers. Sit back in old school chairs and relive the moments as you watch the original game.
You might even be lucky enough to be there when one of the orginal players stops by to visit.
