Just steps from the lakefront, our architecturally interesting facility features galleries with world-class art exhibitions, a sculpture garden, and a Gallery Shop offering truly unique artisan items. We also offer art classes for children and adults year-round. Facility is available for after-hours events. First Fridays at Five cultural events from 5-8pm on the first Friday of every month. Free admission, refreshments served. In conjunction with downtown gallery walk. Lubeznik Center for the Arts Lakefront Art Festival, celebrating 33 years of fine art in Michigan City's lake-front Washington Park on Saturday, August 16, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, August 17, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Central). This weekend juried out-door festival features over 100 fine artists and crafts people from around the country and includes artisans who work in paint, ink, photography, ceramic, wood, metal, stone, jewelry and much more. You'll find artist demonstrations, beachfront food court, free Ivy Tech children’s activity tent, General Insurance community outreach tent, NIPSCO Art Patron Oasis. Free off-site parking and shuttle. Free admission for LCA members & children Under 12.
