Collection of Information
We collect and use information about you in several ways. We receive information directly from you when you send us email, share a photo, complete a form on our websites (such as a survey or a request for a brochure or a contest entry), sign up to receive email from us, or call us with questions. There are two types of information we collect – anonymous and personal.

We use third-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) to gain insights about the demographics and usage behavior of our visitors and to serve advertising to them across the Internet.
Personal information is information that can be used to identify you individually, such as your name, address, email address, or phone number. We collect personal information only when you explicitly give it to us, such as contest registrations, mail order publication requests, survey information, site registrations and consumer contact information. We do not collect the contact information received via direct e-mail communication unless requested or needed to complete a task. When specified by you, contact information will be used to notify you about updates to our website and for marketing purposes. Data Processors We Use, Use of Collected Data, and Opting Out
We utilize products that collect, receive or use end-users’ personal data. Data is collected to allow us to provide our services, as well as for remarketing and behavioral targeting, advertising, analytics, and interaction with external social networks and platforms. Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting

You can generally opt-out of receiving personalized ads from third party advertisers who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out page on the DAA site.
You can opt out of personalized online ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative by visiting the opt-out page of the NAI site.
You may also decline to receive interest-based ads through TrustE/TrustArc’s preferences manager (or if you are located in the European Union click here).
Interaction with External Social Networks and Platforms
Information We Share
We may disclose statistical information to third parties in aggregate form without revealing any personal details about our users (for example, 60% of our site visitors live outside of Indiana).
We share personal information you voluntarily provide, including your email, with our reputable Indiana tourism partners for marketing purposes, and also with business partners that fulfill your requests for information, such as companies that mail our print brochures. If you have provided postal contact information for the purpose of publication mailings, you may receive additional mailings from us and our partners about new products and services or upcoming events. We may disclose your personal information as required by law, in conjunction with a government inquiry, or in litigation or dispute resolution.
Access to Your Data

Security of Your Data
We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you on our site. Please note that although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no website or computer system or wireless connection is completely secure.
Future Use of Data
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes here and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. Revoking Consent and Data Erasure
End users who reside in the European Economic Area: If you wish to revoke your consent to have information processed by us or any of the vendors we use for data processing, or you wish to request deletion of your personal data, please both contact the website owner where the data was collected/obtained (the Data Controller) and us at email@example.com.
Links to Outside Web Sites
Our websites may contain links to third party sites not controlled by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development, such as those belonging to Indiana tourism partners. We recommend that you check the privacy policies of other sites you visit before providing any personal information. Any offers made in advertising on our sites are the sole responsibility of the companies making the offers.
