Smokehouse Southern BBQ

The original DOCs Smokehouse brings authentic Southern BBQ to the great state of Indiana! In keeping with Southern tradition, they smoke their meats exclusively with hickory.

DOCs offers daily slow-cooked and smoked meats; when the meat runs out for the day, they are out! To wash down the slow-cooked melt in your mouth southern bbq, specialty/handcrafted cocktails, wines, and whiskey flights are available. 

In their first year, DOCs earned South Shore CVA's "Restaurant of the Year" award and the Northwest Indiana Times "Best of Region" honors.

Yelp Review: Go for the beer, go for the food, go for the whiskey, go for all of the above...either way it's a win/win! I've never had a bad meal here, and the service has always been spot-on. 

The beers on tap are astounding in both number and variety. There are so many local choices available, and it is really hard to choose what you want to start out with first. Whatever your choice, do pair your selection with the Redneck Fries. Fries, cheddar cheese sauce, jalapeños, brisket, and barbecue sauce...that's their best appetizer. 
My go-to for the main meal is the 2 or 3 meat plate. I always go for the's smoked, and oh so good! The sandwiches are so good, too!
