Happy Birthday to James Whitcomb Riley!

Celebrate the birthday of the “Hoosier Poet,” James Whitcomb Riley, in his proud birthplace. Each year’s festival has one of his poems as the theme, and this year’s is "The Old Swimmin' Hole." The festival includes two parades: the Parade of Flowers and the Riley Festival Parade sponsored by Tyner Pond Farm. Admire the talent behind the fine arts, quilts, photography and decorated pumpkins on display as well as over 450 vendor booths in one of the largest craft festivals in Indiana. There is live musical entertainment in several venues that will keep your toes tapping.
