Are you brave enough for Fear Fair? This haunted house in Seymour is considered the scariest in the Midwest! It takes place every weekend from September 22 through November 4.
Willkommen! Welcome to the ever-popular Seymour Oktoberfest, to be held October 5-7! Celebrate local German heritage in downtown Seymour with food, biergarten, entertainment, crafters, carnival rides, big parade, hot air balloon race and even the chicken dance!
From October 12-15, you can celebrate the last racing weekend of the season at the 22nd annual Funfest at the Brownstown Speedway. Located at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, the race track has a 60-year history of hosting a variety of car classes on its 1/4-mile dirt oval.
The pace is a little slower at Fort Vallonia Days, held October 21-22. Go back to the 1800's with food, music, pioneer crafts, muzzle loader shoots, parade, a persimmon-pudding-eating contest and morethe at historic fort.
