About Indiana Special Olympics Summer Games

Our largest annual event, the Indiana Summer Games are held each June on the campuses of Indiana State University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Nearly 3,000 athletes and unified partners from across the state compete in a variety of Olympic-type sports, including Bocce, Bowling, Cycling, Horseshoes, Powerlifting, Swimming, Track & Field, and Volleyball. Like all Special Olympics Indiana events, Summer Games are made possible by the generous contributions of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers—more than 1,500 of whom serve in important roles throughout the three-day event. Thousands of coaches, chaperones, and spectators also take part in the Games, making it a truly incredible celebration of the spirit of Special Olympics.
