About Link Daffodil Gardens

Helen Link's Daffodil Gardens on the grounds of Link Observatory Space Science Center are home to thousands of varieties of this cheerful spring bloom. A nurse by profession, Mrs. Link returned to school in her later years to become a botanist. Her gardens are open to the public on weekends in April, courtesy of the Indiana Daffodil Society, of which she once served as president. Also on hand during open hours are representatives of Link Observatory Space Science Institute, providing access to the historic structure and answering questions about astronomy in general as well as the institute's public programs.
