About 2018 Bleed Blue Blood Drive and Holiday Fest
Central Indiana residents are asked to donate life-saving blood and enjoy an Indianapolis Colts experience at the 2018 Bleed Blue Blood Drive and Holiday Fest from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 15 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. All donors will receive a souvenir football with Colts head coach Frank Reich’s image and signature.
The event will feature free, fun and family-friendly activities, tours of the Colts field and locker room, chances to win prizes and appearances by Colts cheerleaders and Blue, the Colts mascot.
Each year, the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Blood Center, part of Versiti, host Indiana’s largest single-day blood drive of the year. Bleed Blue ensures that hospitals can meet Hoosier patient needs over the holidays and into 2019.
Anyone 16 or older in good health who meets eligibility requirements is encouraged to donate blood. Parental consent is required for donors age 16 to give. The donation process takes about an hour. Donors should bring a photo ID that includes their birth date.
Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment at Bleed Blue, visit www.colts.com/BleedBlue or call Indiana Blood Center at 317-916-5150.
