About Bean Blossom Blues Festival
Voted the #1 Best Music Festival in 2016 by the State of Indiana Visit Indiana tourism, the annual Bean Blossom Blues Fest is a 3 day festival filled with friendship, live music and jam sessions. Celebrating 20 years in 2018, the "Bean" continues to hold the charm of a friendly gathering of close friends, blues musicians and blues lovers.
What makes this festival so different is the laid back atmosphere, the venue tucked in among trees and campsites, the friendships that develop and a smaller more intimate stage and the accessibility of the musicians to the fans. Whether you are driving around in golf carts, or walking the grounds, the atmosphere is pleasant and cheerful. The stage is not huge, there are no obstructions, and so everyone can see and hear the music. The Bean fans can sit in on jam sessions, learn how to play the harmonica and sit around campfires. Nothing is more magical than spending the evening under the stars with our star performers.
Advance tickets are available through the website and at the gate. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcomed. The Fest is held at the historic Bill Monroe Music Park and Campground in Morgantown, Indiana. Camping is available and campsites can be reserved through the park.
