The Medora Christmas Festival has been a tradition in Jackson County, Indiana since 1972. With its down-home feel and history of community involvement from the many organizations, businesses and churches in town. It always feels like you’re having Christmas with the whole family! The festival features food, craft and flea market vendors guaranteed to satisfy that craving in your belly or for that perfect holiday gift. Live entertainment abounds the stage throughout the day, including the crowning of the Christmas Festival Prince and Princess from Medora Elementary, who are wisped away to ride through the parade as royalty along with the classic and antique automobiles, floats and marching units. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the end of the end of the parade to sit with the kids and take their Christmas wish list!
