About Bean Blossom Blues Fest

Enjoy three days of friendship, live music and jam sessions. Entering its 19th year, the Fest continues to hold the charm of a friendly gathering of close friends, blues musicians and blues lovers. 2017 performers: Matthew Curry, Matthew Skoller, Toronzo Cannon, Samantha Fish, Southern Avenue, Charlie Musselwhite and Eric Lindell. It is an inviting venue, tucked under a lush tree canopy. Driving around in golf carts, or walking the grounds, the atmosphere is friendly and happy. The stage is not huge, there are no obstructions, so everyone can see and hear the music. That is the charm of the festival. The Bean fans can meet and talk to the artists and performers, sit in on jam sessions, learn how to play the harmonica and sit around campfires with new and old friends. The fest even offers a free shuttle to the host hotels so that those not camping can enjoy the music and a few good craft beers without the worry of driving back to their hotel. Coolers, blankets, lawn chairs, bicycles, and golf carts are permitted to be taken in, and friendly pets are permitted as long as they are on a leash. Tickets and schedule available on the website.
