About Shipshewana Ice Festival & Chili Cook Off

Ice carvers will be drilling, shaving and sawing blocks of ice all over Shipshewana on December 28th & 29th. Carvers create beautiful sculptures based on sponsor request on the 28th. Then on the 29th the ice flys again when ice carvers create their own intricate designs during the competition carving event. Warm up with a bowl full of Chili during the Chili Cook-off on the 29th. Sporting your 2017 Ice Festival Pins will allow you to all the chili that you can eat as well as enjoy discounts and specials throughout the month of January 2018.
