Come join in on the 2nd Annual Rosenvolk German Medieval Festival. This festival will feature more than 20 acts of music and amusement, including theatre in the mud, which everyone should see. There will be jousting games led by the four-time National Champion and host of the History Channel's Show "Full Metal Jousting," Shane Adams. Hedinger Bevarge is providing domesting and imported German Beers. German and local wines, as well as Mead, which is a traditonal medieval drink, will also be an available refreshment. Turkey legs and other food will be available as well. Craft vendors include a black smith, a candle maker, a leather crafter, a costumer, a glass blower, a jeweler, a soap maker, a spice compounder, a puppet maker, stained glass maker, and a mask maker, to name a few. There will be games for all, including hatchet and knife throwing, slingshot shooting, and badger hole (corn hole). Jacob's ladder will challenge even the most athletic. As part of the fabric of the festival, on Saturday, there will be the challenge to all men and boys of the Best Presentation fo the Rose to the Burgermeister's Daughter, not an event for the weak of character or imagination.
