Public Program & Telescope Viewing

About Public Program & Telescope Viewing

Link Observatory Space Science Institute presents public programs each month except December. The program consists of a lecture on a space or astronomy related topic, presented at both 7 pm and 9 pm at the Mooresville Public Library. Free NASA publications are available for lecture attendees. The lecture is followed by telescope viewing on site at the Observatory, beginning at 9:30 pm if weather permits. Indiana Astronomical Society members are often on hand with their personal telescopes on the observatory lawn so visitors can compare the view with the 36" lens of the observatory's telescope. All ages are welcome. Link Observatory Space Science Center is an official member of the NASA Museum Alliance.
