The goal of this free interactive outdoor exhibit of over 25 donated, decorated pianos is to fill the city and DeKalb County with music! Free concerts and recitals will be held every weekend with pianists and musicians ranging in age from five to 91. Other events include a weekly film series with movies about pianists and composers; a library lecture series; performance of the musical "I Love a Piano" featuring the music of Irving Berlin; and the reading of a play about Robert and Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms. Aug. 1 – Sept. 15 Open to the public! FREE ADMISSION! Trine University and the Eckhart Public Library in Auburn are both partnering with the Auburn Arts Commission in presenting this DeKalb County exhibit of the Arts. See the Calendar of Events at dekalbcvb.org for each day's scheduled performance. Initial plans were to limit the exhibit to Auburn however; the enthusiasm for the project is contagious, so that the project has expanded to include three additional DeKalb County towns: Waterloo, Garrett and Butler. All located off of I-69 North of Fort Wayne at exits 326, 329 & 334.
