Kids of all ages, and adults too, have a new incentive to visit Southern Indiana this summer thanks to the SoIN Fun Trail passport program.

By stopping into more than 50 family-friendly attractions, hotels and restaurants across Clark and Floyd counties, visitors can collect stickers in their passports to redeem for prizes. Participating businesses include RecBar 812; Huber Orchard, Winery and Vineyard; the Vintage Fire Museum; Parlour; Falls of the Ohio State Park; La Catrina Mexican Kitchen; Schimpff’s Confectionery and many more.

“The SoIN Fun Trail is a way for parents and their children to get out of the house and explore the fantastic things they have in their own communities,” said Luanne Mattson, assistant director for SoIN Tourism. “Many of our tourism partners have created discounts and special offers to encourage people even more.”

The free SoIN Fun Trail passports are available online and at five designated prize hubs — the SoIN Visitor Center, the Carnegie Center for Art and History, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Howard Steamboat Museum and Joe Huber’s Family Farm and Restaurant.

Trail participants earn prize awards at three different levels — a SoIN Back Pack, Frisbee and Waterbottle after receiving 10 stickers; a SoIN Misting Fan after receiving 20 stickers; and entry into a grand prize drawing for Derby Dinner Playhouse tickets, a free night's stay in a hotel, Huber's Orchard, Winery and Vineyards "Family Fun Package" and more.

Happy trails!
