Whether you like watching performances from a comfortable theater seat or walking through fantasy lands, you can definitely fill each week with holiday cheer. We’re sharing this list in chronological order so you can plan your calendar accordingly. Be sure to check the listings, though, as some are not open every day of the week. Festive Film Series, Indianapolis, 12/2-12/23 – The Basile Theatre at the Historic Athenaeum will show a different holiday movie each Monday leading up to Christmas.
Chimes of Christmas, Bloomington, 12/7 – The Grammy-nominated Singing Hoosiers perform a revue of Christmas music in the IU Auditorium to get you in the holiday spirit.

Indiana Historical Society’s Festival of Trees, Indianapolis, 11/15-1/4 – There are 92 festive trees on all floors of the History Center, with a 30-foot showstopper in the center.
Carmel Christkindlmarkt, 11/16-12/24 – Beneath twinkling lights, browse more than 50 wooden huts selling authentic products imported from Germany, like wooden toys, nutcrackers, music boxes, ornaments and more.
Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt, 11/16-11/17 – Operating from seven sites, the market features lavishly decorated booths offering antiques, gifts, food and more.
Jingle Rails, Indianapolis, 11/23-1/20 – The Eiteljorg presents a G-scale model train wonderland featuring nine working model trains going from Indianapolis landmarks to National Parks and more.
Christmas Connections: Botanical Conservatory, Fort Wayne, 11/23-1/5 – Stroll through poinsettia displays and observe vignettes exploring the value of making personal connections.

Festival of Trees, Fort Wayne, 11/28-12/4 – It’s the 35th year for this event at the Embassy, which is transformed with beautifully decorated trees.
Nights Before Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes, Madison, 11/29-12/7 – This is your chance to see some of the 19th century architecture in Madison’s National Historic Landmark District.
Parke County Covered Bridge Christmas, 11/29-12/8 – Do some holiday shopping and take in the scenery in the Covered Bridge Capital.
Christmas Train Show, Rising Sun, 11/29-12/30 – See over five tracks of model trains in a miniature town setting, where trains run over bridges and through tunnels.
Zionsville Christmas in the Village, 11/30-12/22 – While shopping lasts the whole time, don’t miss the parade with live reindeer on November 30.
Santa’s Candy Cane Express, La Porte, 11/30-12/8 – Santa arrives by train to visit with kids, and a toy donation gets you a free ride.
Christmas at the Seiberling, Kokomo, 11/30-12/29 – The Seiberling Mansion is decorated to the brim both inside and out, with Opening Night Lighting Ceremony on November 30.
