With a suspension bridge and a covered bridge within the park, Turkey Run State Park surrounds a stretch of Sugar Creek. There are numerous scenic views of the creek, and it provides an ideal journey for canoes and kayaks. Other must-sees at the park include a staffed nature center, a planetarium, and a saddle barn with escorted rides.

The park is best known for its deep sandstone ravines. You’ll feel like you’re in an otherworldly place as you hike through some of Indiana’s most beautiful topography. From hiking up a waterfall to trails that take you up and down ladders, it is no surprise voters selected the park as the state’s best.
