Could this small town diner be any more adorable? Corner Cup Cafe in Walkerton, Indiana is cute inside and out!
The mural on the exterior wall uses a few of my favorite words: chocolate, cheesecake, and coffee!
This is the local hangout. Once you step inside, I’m sure you won’t have any doubt about that!
Folks don’t just rush through in a small town.
We like to stick around and stay awhile. Nurse a second cup of coffee (or two or three) and visit. That’s easy to do here–there’s more than thirty varieties of coffee and all sorts of coffee drinks!
But the food. Oh, the food!
My Reuben sandwich was amazing. My husband, Jeremy, loved his beef and mushroom panini.
We sat in the back at the pub style seating with the high table and chairs, chuckling at the cross-table local chatter.
B you’ve got big, important decisions to make, like what’s for dessert?
There was pie. There was cake. There was even cheesecake! Did I mention they also carry chocolates? Every single thing we tried was delicious and very fresh.
Every day is pie day in a small town!
Really, we small town folks love getting out and having a slice of homemade pie.
Affordable and homemade, you’ll enjoy a warm Hoosier welcome wherever you decide to celebrate pie day.
Small towns: destinations, not drive-thrus.
