Three, two, one, Happy New Year!
Still trying to decide how to ring in the New Year? Well join Indianapolis at the Union Station and Crowne Plaza in Downtown Indianapolis for the Stella Artois New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball.
This will be the fourth year for the ball and because it has been a sellout event the past three years, the event will be expanding and taking on three unique parties, the “Majestic Grand Hall,” the “Prohibition Lounge,” and “The Club.”
The “Majestic Grand Hall” will be the focus of the party with live music, dancing, and the countdown to midnight. The emcee of the party, Paul Poteet, will reside in the Grand Hall creating an unforgettable evening as we welcome in 2013.
The “Prohibition Lounge” is located underneath the Grand Hall. In this incredibly built room with stone walls, built in stone booths, brick floors and ceilings and dim lighting, guests can enjoy live music all night by some of Indianapolis’s favorites such as “The Michaels” and “Jamestown Revival.”
“The Club” will offer all guests a beautiful skyline view of Indianapolis and act as a “club lounge.” If you enjoy dancing, club lighting and a night full of fun, ring in the New Year with one of Indy’s best DJs, Weedman, from the Smiley Morning Show, in “The Club.”
There are three ticket options for this event. Tickets begin at $55 for general admission which includes access to the three unique parties. Food and drinks are not included with this ticket purchase. VIP tickets are $110 which includes two drink tickets, access to the three parties and admittance to a VIP lounge in the “Majestic Grand Hall” with two full bars and appetizers throughout the entire night. The third ticket option is $135 which includes access to the three parties and also dinner in the Lincoln Ballroom which will be served from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. You can order your tickets now through the events website.
Can’t decide what to wear? According to the host of the party, this is basically a “wear anything you’re comfortable in” event. Men typically wear button downs and dress pants and women will wear cocktail dresses. The night will consist of a costume contest where the first place winner will receive $500, so wearing something flashy may help you stand out amongst the crowd. A number of other giveaways will also be awarded throughout the night.
In need of a mask? No need to worry! Masks will be sold onsite ranging from $5 to $10. Premier Face Painting will also be attending the event and painting faces all evening.
