When it comes to school, I might be a perfectionist, but when it comes to food I am far from picky! Indianapolis has many different dining options – from burger joints to burritos, but one of my favorite restaurants is La Piedad. I was never a huge Mexican food lover until I tried La Piedad. I used to only prefer juicy burgers with a side of fries. Now, I am all about the authentic Mexican cuisine.
La Piedad is located in Broad Ripple Village, a popular hot spot among locals. It’s a great place to grab some good grub and drinks with family members and friends. The casual setting and friendly environment adds character. A few of my girlfriends and I went to La Piedad about a month ago and sat on the outside patio. It was so relaxing after a long and stressful day. We also had fantastic service. Our waiters were very outgoing and extremely funny. They also knew the menu like the back of their hands which was helpful for me because I wasn’t a huge Mexican food lover at the time. They suggested their spicy fajitas and it was so delicious. I now have a regular to say the least.
Every trip to La Piedad is a much more than a meal, but an experience. At La Piedad I am able to sit down and let my worries disappear. If you’re ever in the mood for a some fantastic mexican food and fun upbeat environment, La Piedad is your kind of place.
