All around the state of Indiana, different cities and towns celebrate Christmas with lights displays for everyone to come and enjoy. Whether you’re walking or driving, there’s something in nearly every corner of the state.

Santa’s Castle at Evansville’s Ritzy’s Festival of Lights

This electric winter wonderland has become Evansville’s showcase of holiday spirit. With numerous elaborate Christmas light displays throughout Garvin Park, the event supports the efforts of the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center. The show includes over 60 elaborate scenes, many featuring multiple animated displays up to 20 feet tall.

Santa Claus Land of Lights, Santa Claus
Experience this family Christmas light adventure nightly during the Santa Claus Christmas celebration. Learn the shining story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer through brilliant LED lights from 5-9pm CST. The Santa Claus Land of Lights is a 1.2-mile driving journey located inside Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort. Cost is $15 per vehicle.

Festival of Lights Parade, Columbus
The Festival of Lights Parade features floats, animal units and walking groups. The streets of downtown Columbus light up with thousands of twinkling lights. Enjoy the QMIX fireworks show as Santa passes City Hall!

Enchanted Luminaria and Walk at Minnetrista
Embrace the spirit of the holiday season at Minnetrista. Stroll the Boulevard and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. Theatre performances, tasty treats, music, carriage rides, campfires and hundreds of luminaries await you and your family in this free, all-ages event.

Indianapolis Circle of Lights
The world’s largest Christmas tree is lit every year, the day after Thanksgiving, as lights are strung from the top of the monument on Monument Circle. The tree is lit in a big ceremony and concert on the Circle, regardless of the weather.

Marion’s Walkway of Lights
Long known as the International Walkway of Lights, the new name, Christmas City Walkway of Lights, reflects Marion’s well-deserved and decades-old nickname, Christmas City U.S.A. The Walkway of Lights begins with the Winterfest festival in November. Over 2 million lights and lighted displays are illuminated along the Mississinewa Riverwalk to Matter Park.
