15K Races to Help You Prepare for the Mini

Because tens of thousands of people descend upon Indianapolis each May to run or walk in the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, April is often a popular month for hard core running and walking around the state as participants prepare for the big event. Instead of hitting the pavement by yourself, consider signing up to join in a 15K in April to help your training efforts.

There are several races to choose from:

Qdoba Dino Trail Run Series
Mounds State Park
Anderson, Indiana

500 Festival Training Series
Military Park
Indianapolis, Indiana

Hoosier Ten Miler
City Market
Indianapolis, Indiana

Qdoba Dino Trail Run Series
Town Run Trail Park
Indianapolis, IN

And don’t forget to put Saturday, May 5 on your calendar. Even if you’re not running or walking, it’s always fun to go and cheer on the many who are. (I wrote this post last year with tips for attending the mini-marathon.) Or consider volunteering and being a part of the action. It takes many helping hands to put on this enormous event. Register here.
