It’s a show I’ve never seen live, only on TV. The Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre will present its special one-hour production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol from December 3rd – 20th. In typical Beef & Boards fashion, the show features an open buffet by head chef Odell Ward (whose feasts I’ve partaken of several times over the last few years).
Jeff Stockberger plays Ebenezer Scrooge, who will be haunted by Erin Cohenour (Ghost of Christmas Past), Jonah D. Winston (Christmas Present), and David Michael Cress (Christmas Yet to Come). They are joined by Darrin Murrell (Bob Cratchit), Bobbi Bates (Mrs. Cratchit), and Anthony Prostyakov, Brielle Boynton, Kayla Bennett, and Walker Lasbury as Peter, Belinda, Martha, and Tiny Timm Cratchit. B&B’s own Eddie Curry plays Jacob Marley, and Collin Poynter is the storyteller. The entire production is directed by Elizabeth Stark.
There will be 10 performances of A Christmas Carol, and tickets range anywhere from $19 to $32.
