The Stutz Art Space is exploring the space between our ears and our eyes. That is, what can we see that was inspired by what we hear?
Starting July 1 and running through July 29, the Stutz Art Space will feature the exhibit “The Color of Music” — images that will link the songs in our ears to the images in our minds. They’ll do it with local artists including Susan Brewer, Martha Carlson, Shawn Causey, Wendy Franklin, JanettMarie, Jane Knight, Laura Liotti, Terri McClatchie, Carol L. Myers, Kevin Smola, Mike Swolsky, Vicky Shaffer White, and Julia Wickes.
The exhibition kicks off with an opening reception from 5 pm – 9 pm on Friday, July 1, in conjunction with the city’s First Friday Art Walk. The reception will also feature the acoustic duo, The Hollanders.
The exhibition continues through July 29, and the gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays or by appointment.
