Get a Taste of Indiana Wines at Vintage Indiana Wine Festival June 4th [CONTEST]

Does a nice glass of Hoosier-made wine on a warm summer day sound just about perfect to you? How about samples of more than 200 award-winning wines from 25 Indiana wineries?

Hoosier winemakers and culinary experts are taking over Indy’s Military Park on June 4, 11am-7pm to showcase the best food and drink from across the state at Vintage Indiana Wine & Food Festival. No need to trek throughout Indiana to taste all the fantastic offerings that Hoosiers artisans create–they’re coming to you!

Eleven restaurants will have tasty treats available for purchase, local artists will be displaying and selling their creations and three great Midwestern musicians–Brigid’s Cross, Jennie DeVoe and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band–will keep your toes a ‘tappin’ as you sip, taste and enjoy this unique cultural experience.

The festival will also include four education/demonstration sessions throughout the day in the Wine & Food Pavilion. You’ll learn everything from great recipes and pairings for dinner parties to tricks for grilling the perfect summer dinner.

Vintage is fun for the whole family. While you enjoy grown-up fun, the kids will play in the interactive KidZone, which is basically a small carnival. Vintage also offers designated driver tickets that include unlimited soft drinks for only $10 so that everyone can enjoy the day while having a safe drive home. Designated drivers can still purchase bottled wine to enjoy at home. Bring your lawn chairs and make a day of it with the family or a group of friends as you eat, drink, learn, listen, look and play!

Advance tickets are available for purchase at Marsh Stores and on the Vintage website for only $22 and tickets will be $25 at the gate on June 4. Tickets for children 6-20 are only $5 with kids 5 and under receiving free admission.

We have a great prize for two lucky readers: two adult tickets to Vintage 2011! Tweet the text below by tomorrow (Wednesday, 6/1/11) at noon EDT and we will select one tweeter at random to win the prize! Good luck!
