I love a Lego lover. Two, in fact. My husband and my youngest son are both big fans of the little plastic bricks that are the building blocks of imagination — and that hurt like the dickens when stepped on with bare feet. So when I heard about Brickworld Indy, two days of Legos and more Legos, I knew what’s going to be on our weekend agenda. (Worked in around March Madness, of course.)
Brickworld Indy will take place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis on Saturday, March 19 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, March 20 from 10am to 5pm. Daily admission is $8 for adults, $5 for kids ages 3 to 9. Children under 3 are free.
Visitors can expect 18,000 square feet of amazing Lego creations! Most of the displays will be for viewing pleasure only, but there will also be some hands-on activities such as a group mosaic build, interactive Mindstorms® robotic games and play brick areas for all age groups. Vendors will also be on hand for people wishing to purchase custom kits or discontinued sets.
