2011 Big Ten Tournament in Indy

By admin on February 25, 2011

2011 Big Ten Basketball Tournaments | IndianapolisFebruary is almost over, which means that it’s time for the meat of the college basketball season. Indianapolis is hosting the NCAA 2011 Women’s Final Four on April 3-5, but before the finals can be played Indy will host the 2011 Big Ten Men’s & Women’s tournaments to determine who will make it into the ‘big dance’.

2011 will be the final year that eleven teams from the Big Ten will play in the tournament as Nebraska joins the mix in 2012. Right now you can only buy all-session tickets for either the Men’s or Women’s tournaments, but single-game tickets should go on sale soon.

Men’s Tournament (March 10-13)

  • All-session lower and club level: $300 (available only through any of the 11 Big Ten universities)
  • All-session upper level: $220 or $165 (price depending on seat location, available through Ticketmaster (800) 745-3000 or theConseco Fieldhouse box office).

Orders will be limited to 12 all-session tickets.

Special student discount:

  • All-session ticket: $50 (available only to students of the 11 Big Ten universities)

All students must have a valid student ID for entry. Student section seating will be available in eight balcony sections and orders will be limited to one all-session ticket. Details on the student ticket program will be sent to the university ticket offices for distribution directly to students.

Women’s Tournament (March 3-6)

  • All-session ticket: $45 (through January 31, 2011)
  • All-session ticket: $65 (after January 31, 2011)

Other than fan blocks for each game, the women’s tournament will feature general admission seating. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster(800) 745-3000 or the Conseco Fieldhouse box office.

Fans wishing to purchase all-session tickets within their university’s fan block for their respective team’s games only are encouraged to contact their school’s ticket office.
