Lots to Do at French Lick Resort

By admin on January 8, 2011

Who knew Las Vegas was located in southwestern Indiana? Well it isn’t, but if you are looking for that experience then look no further. French Lick Resort is a Vegas-style resort with spa hotels, stables, a casino and three golf courses.

French Lick Resort is made up of two luxurious and sophisticated hotels – West Baden Springs Hotel and French Lick Springs Hotels. Condé Nast Traveler readers chose the West Baden Springs Hotel as the 15th Best Resort in the U.S.

The French Lick Springs Hotel, like the West Baden Springs Hotel, offers promenade shops and events for kids, as well as Championship-level golf courses and a 24-hour casino.

The casino portion of the resort offers the latest state-of-the-art slot machines and live-action blackjack, roulette and craps tables. It also offers live shows, non-smoking gaming areas and a variety of dining options. The dining options range from simple to extravagant with Diamond Jim’s Trattoria, Nosh, and The Grand Colonnade Restaurant.

French Lick Resort also has three prime golf courses including: The Pete Dye Course, The Diamond Ross Course, The Valley Links and Golf Learning Center. The Pete Dye Course was the selected site for the 2010 Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Professionals National Championship and was rated the fifth best casino course by Golfweek. Golfweek also rated the Diamond Ross Course the 12th best casino course.

For more information regarding French Lick Resort, check out their website www.frenchlick.com, follow FrenchLickResor on twitter, or like them on Facebook – French Lick Resort. This is one of the many perfect weekend getaways in Indiana, but if you want to experience everything there is to experience in this area, you’re gonna wanna stay longer.
