I went to the Yuletide Celebration performed by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra hosted at the Hilbert on Monument Circle. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect from this show, but I was definitely surprised throughout the performance. I assumed that it would be similar to other ISO performances and be music focused, however, the music was more in the background.
I wasn’t particularly pleased with this show because it seemed to be targeted more to families and younger children, so several of the acts didn’t really appeal to me. However, if you have children, this is the holiday show to see. There is magic, sparkles, and snow and creates a delightful wonderland.
The Hilbert is beautifully decorated for the Holidays, and you can’t help but smile when you walk in and see the décor. If the show doesn’t thrill your kids, the reindeer outside the entrance will. Who doesn’t want to get an up close look and even pet the magical creatures that pull Santa’s sleigh?
Check out the Yuletide Celebration at the Hilbert for an overdose of Holiday cheer!
