If you are looking for a restaurant where you can take the kids for a delicious weekend breakfast, or if you are in search of a spot where you can dine alone and enjoy a tasty meal while reading a book or the newspaper, Three Sisters Café in the heart of Broad Ripple may just be your ideal destination. Three Sisters Café is a small and welcoming establishment that makes guests feel right at home. In fact, the restaurant is on the main floor of an old house at 6360 Guilford Avenue. Besides providing guests with a comfortable and reasonably quiet environment, the food is outstanding. There are so many tasty and unique dishes to choose from on the menu. Three Sisters even has a number of vegan and vegetarian items on the menu in addition to their more traditional brunch items.
With clever names for dishes such as Mona, Bill, and Mom, there are aspects of this cozy café that make it stand out from any other restaurant in the city. My very favorite thing about Three Sisters is that I can order breakfast any time of day. I usually eat breakfast foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and any restaurant that makes me feel as though this quirk is socially acceptable is going to be on the top of my list.
Fear not, even if you have normal eating habits, Three Sisters has options that are better suited for lunch and dinner. Off the top of my head, I would recommend everything on the menu, but if I have to be more discerning, my favorite dish would have to be the house made maple vanilla granola. This paired with a side of fresh fruit is the perfect way to start the weekend, or any day for that matter. So the next time you are looking for a café to meet up with friends, treat the family, or just dine alone without fear of looking like a loner (people are always there alone enjoying books and solitude, myself included) then I urge you to check out Three Sisters Café. Mmmm.
