For a ladies night out, a friend of mine suggested we try Claddagh Irish Pub for dinner. She, being Irish herself, had received coupons at the Irish Fest here in Indianapolis this past summer. With our free appetizer or dessert coupons in hand, we headed up to 96th Street!
Claddagh Irish Pub’s goal is to provide the best of what Ireland has to offer. The restaurant provides a true pub house feel with a friendly, warm, and inviting environment. The restaurant is so dedicated to providing a great experience they even created a mission statement that promises guests to a true Irish experience in every way, an inviting pub, a genuinely friendly staff, a community gathering place, Irish flare, and the passion for the perfect pint. I can attest to the fact that they live up to their mission statement. When we arrived it was cold and blustery, but just by walking inside, we were greeted by a warm and invited environment. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. The whole experience made for the perfect ladies night out dinner!
Even the menu had Irish flare. Genuine cuisine like corn beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, and fish and chips which are favorites from the homeland are offered to get the total Irish experience. Even if you aren’t any part Irish, like myself, there is something here for you. I went the Americanized-Irish route and chose a burger with a little Claddagh flare. Along with my meal, I used my coupon on their bread pudding. Delicious!
Claddagh Irish Pub has three central Indiana locations.
