I love to spread the joys of fall throughout the season. A trip to the apple orchard one weekend, pumpkin patch the next. But if autumn is passing you buy more quickly than you’d like, and you need to check off all your favorite activities in one stop, Nienaber’s Farm Market in Columbus, Indiana is a convenient and fun choice.
Choosing a pumpkin at Nienaber's Farm Market
Nienaber’s had pumpkins of every shape, color and size when we visited. You can choose one they’ve picked, or pick your own in their large pumpkin patch. There is also a corn maze and a market shop with lots of delightful fall favorites, like cider, gourds, pies, apples and other fresh produce. My favorite offering from the shop was their own homemade pumpkin butter. When we visited, they also had the largest pots of mums I’ve ever seen.
As the mom of a pretty active toddler, I appreciated that Nienabor’s had many carts and wagons for transporting our pumpkins to the cashier.
