If you enjoyed watching the US Open that just ended this past weekend and want to see some world-class golf in Indiana, head down to French Lick for the PGA Professional National Championship starting this Sunday, June 27 – 30, 2010. *Update: The best thing about this event? It’s FREE!*
The Championship will be played on both the Donald Ross and Pete Dye courses at French Lick Resort. After each day’s rounds, you’ll be able to enjoy some great amenities at the French Lick and West Baden Resorts including French Lick’s 1875: The Steakhouse, Power Plant Bar and Colonnade Restaurant (just to name a few), as well as the Spa at French Lick and, of course, the French Lick Casino. If West Baden Springs is more your style, check out the Atrium, Sinclair’s Restaurant, and the Spa at West Baden.
If you’re traveling with the kids, they’ll love the pools at both resorts as well as Pluto’s Alley, a bowling alley and pizzaria in the French Lick Resort. The resort even has programs available for kids or teens.
Room availability may be limited at French Lick and West Baden during the tournament, but you can also book a room at the Big Splash Adventure hotel and waterpark right across the road from French Lick.
