Return to Indiana’s roots at the Eiteljorg Indian Market and Festival June 26-27. A celebration of Native American heritage and culture, the event includes both traditional and contemporary Native American art and entertainment.
More than 140 Native artists from 60 different tribes come to Indianapolis from across the country to participate in the festival. Five-time World Champion Hoop Dancer Derrick Suwaima Davis, award-winning guitarist and flutist Aaron White and internationally-known author and storyteller Richard Van Camp are just a few of the featured guests.
Stroll through the booths and pick out beautifully handcrafted art for your home. Sway to the beat of cultural music or be entranced by a traditional storyteller spinning Indian legends. Participate in cultural activities, like creating pottery tiles, and sample unique foods to connect with the native culture.
The event takes place at the Eiteljorg Museum in downtown Indianapolis. Admission is $10 at the gate and kids 17 and under get in free. $8 advance admission tickets can be purchased at the museum and some Marsh locations.
