If you work in downtown Indianapolis, you’re probably familiar with the Strawberry Festival put on each year by the Christ Church Cathedral (located on the north end of Monument Circle). This year’s festival takes place TOMORROW (Thursday, June 10th) from 9am-6pm (or until supplies run out) on the north side of Monument Circle.
If you’ve never been to the event before, it’s definitely worth checking out. Monument Circle will be swarmed with people from all over the city, all enjoying strawberry shortcake. For just $6 (CASH ONLY), you can get one of “the works” shortcakes, with ice cream and whipped cream.
Oh, and the entire festival is a fundraiser for local, state and national charities. In fact, more than 95% of the proceeds to directly to charities. If you haven’t been to the Strawberry Festival before, you owe it to yourself to make the trip downtown this year. Here’s an interactive map that shows some different parking lots downtown.
