Next Tuesday night, May 4, the Indiana Humanities Council is hosting a deliciously interesting event called “Chew on This.” Part of the Council’s Food for Thought initiative, “Chew on This” will bring people together in 15 different venues in Central Indiana to share a meal and a discussion on the topic “From local to global: How can we use Indiana’s strengths in agriculture and artisanal foods to position Indiana globally?”
Each venue is limited to 20 participants to encourage conversation. The cost to participate ranges from $0 at the Jewish Community Center, University of Indianapolis, St. Luke Methodist Church and others where a pitch-in dinner will be held to $50 at R Bistro and Rick’s Cafe Boatyard and several price points in between.
Conversations will be shared via Twitter, using the #ChewOnThis hashtag and will later be posted on the Indiana Humanities Council website.
Reservations are requested by April 30. For a complete list of locations, discussion hosts and RSVP information, click here.
