NCAA Men's Final Four in Indy!

This year’s NCAA Division I College Basketball season is drawing to a close, and it’s sure to be exciting for us in Indiana. Not only does this year’s Men’s Final Four Tournament take place in Indianapolis this coming weekend (April 3-5), but one of Indianapolis’ own teams is a Final Four participant! Congratulations to the Butler Bulldogs for their school’s first Final Four berth!

One of our bloggers, Amy, talked about the many activities happening in Central Indiana this week around the Final Four Tournament and you can read about them here. With so much going on in Indianapolis this weekend, it’s the perfect opportunity to visit and see why it’s such a great city.

If you’re a Michigan State, West Virginia, Duke or Butler fan coming to Indy for the first time there are four restaurants that have received the designation as official team restaurants for the tournament. Even though these are the official restaurants for each team, fans of each time will be all over the city.

Midwest Regional Champ:

| Michigan State – Champps Americana (49 W. Maryland; 317.951.0033)

West Regional Champ:

| Butler – The Ram (140 S. Illinois; 317.955.9900)

East Regional Champ:

| West Virginia – Scotty’s Brewhouse (1 Virginia Ave.; 317.571.0808)

South Regional Champ:

| Duke – Buffalo Wild Wings (7 E. Washington St.; 317.951.9464)

If you’re looking for even more basketball, the Indiana Pacers (tickets/schedule) play the Miami Heat at 7:00 on Friday (4/2) and the Houston Rockets at 6:00 on Sunday (4/4) at Conseco Fieldhouse, just a few short blocks away from Lucas Oil Stadium and the rest of the Final Four Festivities.

If you’re looking for something other than basketball, your options are nearly limitless. You can find other fun things to do at VisitIndiana.com or at VisitIndy.com, the website for the Indianapaolis Convention and Visitors Association.
