Indiana is home to two of the top hotels in the world. Conrad Indianapolis and West Baden Springs Hotel have been named to Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List 2010. The Gold List features the best hotels worldwide, and for the second year in a row, Conrad Indianapolis received the distinction among 681 other hotels and resorts internationally.
The Gold List is one step beyond the previous award that Conrad Indianapolis received this October through Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards as a Top 100 United States Hotel. Conrad represents the state of Indiana along with West Baden Springs Hotel, who has topped the Gold List for two consecutive years. West Baden Springs Hotel is part of the French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana.
“The Indiana Hotel and Lodging Association is proud to have members such as the Conrad Indianapolis and French Lick/West Baden Springs hotel, said John Livengood, President and CEO of Indiana Hotel and Lodging Association. “These properties set their standards high and do a great job representing Indiana not just to travelers locally, but to the global audience that recognizes the accolades bestowed by Condé Nast. These two properties truly are the ‘gold standard’ and we congratulate them for being recognized for their hard work and truly great customer service.”
The Gold List is based on the annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Survey.
